Description: A public organization committed to providing technical and educational programs enabling Butler County landowners and residents to make wise decisions in the conservation of natural resources. We can provide information and assistance, including workshops and presentations on: conservation education, soils, erosion and sediment control, water resources, wildlife management, flood plains, land use planning, and applying conservation practices to the land.
Hours of Operation: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Facility Open to Public: Offices – no public facility
Onsite Programs: Educator workshops are available at our offices. Please see website for a list of upcoming workshops.
Offsite Programs Available: Yes - Butler County only. We offer children and adult programs on soil, water, and natural resource issues.
Entrance Fees: No facility
Program Fees: No. Some teacher workshops have a registration fees.

Audiences: PreK-12, youth organizations, and adults
Program Topics: Water, soil, rock cycle, maps, weather, pollution, and natural resource conservation. >From March through November we work with groups to conduct river clean-ups and also to mark storm drains across the county with labels asking people not to pollute.
Free Teacher Resources: Yes. Our Education Newsletter goes to each teacher in each school in Butler County three times a year listing free resources, programs, and workshops. We have a lending library with everything included to teach topics such as plate tectonics, the water cycle, the rock cycle and much
more. We also loan books, videos, posters and many other items. Please
