Imago Earth Center

Description: Imago is a nonprofit ecological organization that creates tangible ways to live in harmony with the Earth. Our educational programs focus on: preserving greenspace, creating ecological urban environments, providing educational experiences that expand our awareness of interconnectedness, facilitating community-building activities,  and rejoicing through Earth-centered celebrations.

Hours of Operation: Trails open everyday dawn to dusk. Building open M - S 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and closed Sunday.

Offsite Programs Available: Yes.

Program Fees: Yes

Handicap Accessible: No

Teacher Training Workshops/Programs: Yes

Audiences:  Pre-kindergarden, adults, general public

Program Topics:  Natural history topics such as insects, plants, and more; Native Americans; and teambuilding.

Free Teacher Resources: No

Community Service Opportunities Available: beautification projects (trail maintenance, art projects, gardening), habitat restoration projects, and volunteer naturalist group leaders.
