Description: The ORSANCO Educational Foundation was founded in 2003 as a 501c3, non-profit organization under the domain of the Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission. The mission of the ORSANCO Educational Foundation is to design, manage and raise funds for Ohio River Basin educational programs that will foster an environmentally aware and responsible public. The flagship program of the ORSANCO Educational Foundation is the River Education Center, a floating classroom for the Ohio River that serves high school students in Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and South Eastern Indiana. The River Education Center offers interactive voyages focusing on water quality and biological monitoring.
